How do I clean the catalyst filter?

The catalyst filter removes odors and keeps the air fresh. It doesn't get washed.

1. Remove the catalyst filter from the top of the unit.
2. Leave it in direct sunlight for about 1 to 2 hours to "recharge" it.
3. Put it back in the unit.
