My purifier has a burning smell or strange odor. What should I do?

Burning smell, smoke, or sparks

Please unplug the unit right away and don't use it until we've had a look. Then contact us with a short video and photos of the unit and its filters, your order number, and when you first noticed the smell. We'll get back to you within 1 business day with next steps.

A mild or stale odor

If the smell is musty or stale rather than burning, the catalyst filter may need refreshing. Set it in direct sunlight for about 1 to 2 hours, and clean the other filters. See https://airdogusa.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/73000562080
