Why won't my air purifier turn on?

Modified on Wed, 4 Nov at 11:48 AM

Sorry your Airdog isn't powering on. Most of the time it's a quick fix. Here's what to check.

Quick checks

  1. Make sure the unit is plugged in firmly and the outlet works (try another device or another outlet).
  2. Make sure every part is installed correctly. Our purifiers have a safety lock and won't run if a compartment or the back cover isn't closed properly.
  3. Make sure all filters are completely dry after cleaning.
  4. Work through the no-power troubleshooting guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DB32LYQixZ8i2O7e8brZilxTrJ_yyeL9/view?usp=sharing (also attached to this article).

The lights come on, but no air is blowing

If the display lights up but the fan doesn't blow air, the motor likely needs to be replaced. Please start a warranty claim here: https://airdogusa.com/apps/redo/returns-portal/login?referralId=67a66b70f9a2527040a1cf8f

It shuts down and restarts on its own

This is usually a sign it's time for a full cleaning cycle. Clean all the filters, let everything dry fully, and try again.
